Tonight is the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, the crown jewel of red carpets that puts even the Oscars to shame. This year's gala honors Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada and is entitled "Impossible Conversations". The exhibition will showcase the strikingly similar design aesthetics of the two Italian legends separated by generations.
Sadly, I did not receive a much-coveted invite meaning I will be watching the red carpet on my roommate's computer in my pajamas with a milkshake in hand. Nothing but glamour for me. I do intend to make it to the exhibit post-haste, maybe even this Sunday. Join me?
