In honor of tomorrow's game-of-all-games SEC Championship, my dream gameday attire. Note the signature "silver britches" on the left. Here's to calling my dawgs in style!

In my opinion, the Valentino Resort 2013 show last week was utter perfection. Pop-art inspired florals mixed with monochromatic leopard, nautical stripes, and black leather; who knew these could blend so cohesively? I love the sixties-style skinny pants and weightless chiffon peplum blouses. The black chiffon/white collared blouse and black skirt look would fit into my NYC life so perfectly I promise. Also, I am happy to see that the "Rockstud" pumps (the studded, pointy toe wonders) will still be in production next spring... Maybe I will finally be able to cross them off of my dream list.

I haven't yet mentioned my absolute adoration of French culture; I feel such an inexplicable, magnetic draw to the language, style, and music. I can imagine myself strolling along the Seine in Paris after a long night of dancing in this fabulous dress. Set to Sydney Bechet's "Si tu vois ma mère", the title track from Midnight in Paris, I would stop at a cafe for a café au lait and an almond croissant. All would be right in the world.
